Things I have learned recently that I haven't posted about: What the color 'chartruese' actually looks like. It is not a horrible green even though that's what it sounds like. Reminds me of that sick vegetable dish...swiss chard...but it's nothing like that. It's yellow. Bright, wonderful, yellow.
What tracer bullets are. They are essentially "light up" bullets that glow through the air and make your shot look like an incredibly fast shooting star. We shot them in the pitch black of night at the cabin over the weekend and it was like a laser light show, but way more fun. We shot them out of a 22 and are usually every fifth or third bullet, but ours were every one. If I was tweeting about this I would have ended it with...hashtag...ballin.
How to tell if an egg is bad. You fill a big bowl with water and you drop your questionable egg into the water. If the egg sinks to the bottom and lays on it's side - it is really fresh. As more air enters the egg it will lose some freshness and the egg might stand straight in the water (still touching the bottom though) and it's still fine to eat. If the egg floats, I wouldn't eat it.
What I'm TRYING to learn, but haven't quite got the hang of yet however is how to make decisions. Life decisions. I'll keep you posted if I make any.
Anyone else learning anything great they'd like to share???

(I tried to find a chartreuse egg chart with tracer bullets coming out of it for my image, but somehow, it was no where to be found!)
